Prairie Strong Since 2025: Introducing Sask Proud Clothing

We’ve got big news from the heart of the prairies: Sask Proud Clothing is now open.  Think bunnyhugs and tees named after sunsets over Qu’Appelle, toques inspired by aurora arcs over Athabasca, and mugs that feel like a warm campfire in winter.

We’re a humble‑proud crew from Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territory.  We believe in hard work, open skies, lake‑life summers, curling bonspiels and picking berries in the coulees.  We believe clothing can tell those stories without resorting to tacky or cheesy gimmicks.  We’re excited to share our first collection with you.

What makes us different?

  • Rooted in Place – Every design starts with a location, season or story.  You’ll find safe motifs like stylized prairie lilies, wheat sheaves, elevators and bison.  Our palette names draw from canola yellow, forest green, aurora teal and charcoal storm.
  • Comfort & Quality – We use soft, durable materials that handle -30 °C bunnyhug weather and +30 °C lake days.  Our garments are printed on demand to minimize waste.
  • Inclusive & Treaty‑Aware – We acknowledge that we are on Treaty land.  We collaborate with Indigenous and Fransaskois artists whenever we use motifs from their cultures, crediting and compensating them fairly.
  • Accessible Designs – Each product has descriptive alt text so folks using screen readers know exactly what the tee looks like.  We avoid restricted symbols and respect cultural protocols.
  • Giving Back – A portion of every sale goes to community projects across Saskatchewan.  We’re all in this together.

What’s in the debut collection?

  • Qu’Appelle Dusk Tee – A soft tee with an abstract grain elevator silhouette and gradient sky (alt: “Sky‑blue t‑shirt with amber elevator outline fading into prairie gold sunset”).
  • Waskesiu Aurora Long Sleeve – Long sleeves for cool nights, featuring sweeping aurora teal arcs (alt: “Aurora‑teal arcs across birch‑white long sleeve; small wheat motif near hem”).
  • Prairie Lily Bunnyhug – Our signature bunnyhug in berry purple with a stylized lily line drawing on the chest (alt: “Berry‑purple hoodie with white line art of prairie lily, kangaroo pocket”).
  • Sun Dog Tuque – A cosy charcoal storm tuque with canola yellow embroidery of twin sun dogs (alt: “Charcoal knit tuque embroidered with two small yellow circles and a vertical line”).

Join the journey

We’re just getting started.  Over the coming months we’ll release new designs tied to harvest, snowfall and bonspiel season.  We’ll showcase local artists through our collaboration program.  We’ll share stories from Saskatoon, Regina, Meadow Lake, La Ronge and everywhere in between.

Browse the collection, share your feedback and follow us on socials.  This isn’t just about clothing — it’s about celebrating who we are.  As we say on the prairies, there are skies for days.  Let’s wear them with pride.
